irvine 1/2 marathon!

we took a little girls trip to the beach house and ran in the southern ca. 1/2 marathon. kelli, me , chrissy and cindy were thr runners and we had great supporters too! i was prego and it seemed alot harder. we had alot of fun though!!


i ran into carli and kurt. she was awesome. and it was so fun seeing her there

christmas on balboa island

i know this is late but i am catching up on alot that i've missed. we went to the beach house in december with the nelsons and some of my family. we had a great time. we saw the boat parade on balboa island. it was awesome!!

I'M having a Boy!!

we found out last week that jon and i are having a boy!! ok so i know i have been such a bad blogger and i haven't even post that i was prego. so here is the scoop. i am almost 15 weeks and due sept. 9th. we are excited to start a family!!

grand canyon!!

my dad has been wanting to go to the grand canyon. So since our family has never been(sad i know) sonny flew us in his plane and we had a great time! it was fun with reagan and breeyn there!!

KELLI DID AWESOME THIS WAS HER FARTHEST RACE SO FAR AND SHE WAS SO GOOD!! SHE IS GOING TO ROCK AT THE 1/2 MARATHON IN JAN. ITS BEEN SO FUN RUNNING WITH HER!!



BETH WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD US ABOUT THIS RACE. SHE ALWAYS MAKES EVERYTHING FUN, SHE GOT THE CRAZY SOCKS FOR US(WHICH WERE SERIOUSLY THE HIT OF THE RACE!) IT WAS SO FUN DOING THIS WITH HER!!

THANKSGIVING !!

WE WENT TO ST. GEORGE WITH THE NELSONS FOR THANKSGIVING. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. WE WNT TO SNOW CANYON ONE DAY. IT IS BEAUTIFUL!

OUR 1ST CRUISE!1

MY WONDERFUL PARENTS GAVE US KIDS A CRUISE TRIP FOR CHRISTMAS. OF COURSE WE HAD TO WAIT TIL THE BASEBALL SEASON WAS DONE FOR JON AND I TO GO, SO WE JUST GOT BACK. IT WAS WONDERFUL. WE MISSED GOLDEN AND JOSLYN THOUGH.

HERE WE ARE AT COSAMEL WALKING DOWN THE STREET WERE TONS OF SHOPS ARE AND THE WORKERS JUST DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO GET YOU IN THEIR SHOP AND TO BUY. WE SNUBAED EARLIER THAT DAY AND IT WAS SOOO AWESOME!!

WE HAD TO STAY IN COSAMEL AN EXTRA DAY BECAUSE OF A STORM SO THE NEXT DAY WE WENT TO PARADISE BEACH AND PARASAILED!!

DRESS UP NIGHT!!

THERE WAS A DRESS CODE AT THIS RESTAURANT WE WENT TO. THE GUYS HAD TO WEAR A JACKET. MY DAD DIDN'T HAVE ONE SO HE BORROWED MY MOMS AND HE WAS DEFINATELY THE HOTTEST TIGER THERE!!(HE REALLY DIDN'T WEAR IT BUT THOUGHT HE WOULD TRICK US. IT WAS REALLY FUNNY!)

happy birthday suzy!!

it is suzanne's birthday today!!(suz, you are the first person i did an announcement for actually on their b-day and not a week or month late, you should be proud)!! suzanne is barely older than me and we have been the best of cousins and friends since i was born. even though i have always been taller i still look up to her in so many ways. she's the one who got me started on a blog. i wish i was as good as her cause then i would know how to post pics from our younger days. she also got me hooked on sixteen candles. movies are always fun with suzanne cause she always remembers the funny parts and we'll laugh at them over and over. She taught me how to dance (i will never forget our moves to spice girls "wannabe"). suz used to love butter popcorn jelly bellys and i still think about her whenever i see any jelly bellys.

suzanne is the best mom. ellie is so lucky to have such a wonderful mom who loves her daughter so much. it is crazy how much ellie looks like suz when she was her age. ellie has such a happy and fun personality just like her mom!!

we love getting together with all the cousins. we need to do it more though. i especially loved and still do love going to family partys cause suzanne was and is my best friend there!!

suzanne is so talented and creative. she decorated this tree for my mom and everyone always comments on it. it is a good thing i have her to help me someday cause i am not good in the creative or decorating area.

suzanne and i have so much fun together. it is the best to have a cousin so close who i have always got along so good with and alway have a blast with. i love ya suz!!

joslyn's 20!!

joslyn is the perfect sister in law. she is the sweetest person i know and we get along so good. our family is now complete because she's in it!

golden and joslyn flew to portland with my parents for jon's series there. it was joslyn's birthday on sat. and we celebrated a little bit at bj's after the game.

this is in portland, oregon jon had a series there and his dad flew up. we went to the temple, it is gorgeous!!

jon played near the smoky mountains so we drove through gatlinberg(which was a fun little town)to the smoky mtn. my parents came too for this trip. we had a blast!!

WELCOME STELLA ROSE NELSON!!

CINDY AND DAVE NELSON WELCOMED THEIR FIRST GIRL AFTER HAVING 3 BOYS!! SHE WAS BORN ON AUG. 12,2008 AT 8:00 PM AND WEIGHED 6 1/2 LBS. SHE IS SO CUTE! KELLI, JODI, JAYLEE AND I WENT AND SAW HER THE NEXT DAY. CINDY OF COURSE LOOKED GREAT!!

JAYLEE AND STELLA AT THE HOSPIAL. STELLA IS 1 DAY OLD AND JAYLEE IS NOW 7 MONTHS!! THEY WERE BOTH BORN IN THE SAME HOSPITAL AND I GOT TO SEE BOTH AT ONE DAY OLD!! I ACTUALLY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN TENNESSEE RIGHT NOW BUT JON GOT CALLED UP TO TACOMA SO I CAME HOME AND WILL LEAVE FRIDAY FOR WASHINGTON!!

ok so it was my mom's b-day on feb. 8th. however, since i am a slacker when it comes to blogs, my mom is too important to miss. she seriously is the best. she loves to have fun and to include everyone!! some of her favorite things are:

we love our mom! she is so much fun and loves going to the beach house with the whole family. she will even buy all us girls things and some of the time they match. she has great style in picking out things for us and herself. i love shopping with her!
she LOVES!! her grandkids. they all love her too. mom can always get them to laugh and loves to buy them things also. she is the best babysitter and they are so lucky to have her for their grandma.

for her birthday we flew up to vegas(thanks sonny you are the best pilot) to see her fav. singer alan jackson. mom was getting crazy. it was so fun to watch her. we love having a fun mom who loves to dance, sing or do anything without being embarrased. she is the hot mama, partygirl!!
